Stained Glass Pyramid Art

Hi everyone I made this for myself as I was sick of making Christmas items.
Its my birthday next week so I felt I needed to make something for me for a change.
I love iridescent glass and the ripple glass so I gathered together all my iridescent pebbles and glass and treated myself to this.

One side is blues and Greens and the opposite side's are pinks and reds.

I found making this very healing and it relaxes me to look at it.

Nancie's Cats in Stained Glass.

Well Finally I have finished the stained Glass picture of Nancie's cats.
This is my biggest piece to date 15" x 10"
Im really please how this has turned out. It was a challenge for me as it was the first time I had made someones pets from a photograph . The hardest part where the eye's as the pieces where so tiny, about 1cm in size .
To make the pupils I used some nail polish and painted them on, I was told this trick by another stained glass artist .
I hope you like my stained Glass cats and will follow my blog to see more of my Art and how it progresses.

Stained Glass Cat design's and there progress

Hello everyone, well for some reason I am getting inundated with request's for
Stained Glass Cat designs.

So I am going to bring you on a journey of my progress with them over the next few month's.

This stained glass design is for  a Lady in USA .It depicts her Pet Cats outside. I plan on also framing it with random patchwork stained glass frame. The Panel is going to be 15" x 11"  in size.

Name's of Cats from Left to right Savannah, Bucky, Little One,
and  Sire Jack.

Two of the Cats have died sadly the 2 middle ones. She told me " I love the idea of  pink butterfly above the cat  Savannah he is totally out of the closet gay...lmao....the cat on the right is red British tabby..his name is Sire Jack ". Below is photo of her Four beautiful Cats.

This Design is a sun catcher for a English Lady which depicts her two cats and kitten in the centre.Below are photos of these lovely cats.Oh Henry has the tip of his ear missing.

Stained Glass Cockatoos Birds sun catcher

Love these stained glass Cockatoos.
size 6" x 7" available in my
ETSY SHOP
This is a one off  Unique piece. To be honest it was very fiddly to make.
Copper foiling and cutting the tiny pieces caused my hands to get cramps, as the pieces are so small so I will only be making one this size.
The photo above does not show the true colour's so going to add a photo below of copper foiled piece's before it was soldered & hung up this shows the true colouring .

Photo of copper foiled glass sections before soldering.
Posted this photo so you can see the lilac and orange colours.
The idea for this piece was from another stained glass Crafter
who had made a long row of  birds in different colours.
More your common garden birds.
I liked the idea of making a row of  bright coloured parrots then added the Mohawk's
then they turned into Punk Cockatoos .

Finished yellow submarine

Cut and ready for copper foiling.

Well I am very pleased with how my new design has turned out . This stained Glass Yellow Submarine from the Beatles Pop Band has turned out to be one of my best sun catcher's to date .It was so much fun working with the wonderful colour's and shapes. The lady in America who asked me to custom make this for her Dad for fathers Day, loves watching its progress and chats to me about how excited she is to see it being made :D
Now this one is finished I have two large stained glass sugar skulls to make. One will be my old skull design for the same lady in America who has also commissioned me to make this Yellow Submarine. The other one will be my new Skull design which will be going into a on line shop for sale called http://www.retrodec.com/  .
